Dymax was founded by John and Lilian, a husband-and-wife team from Singapore with a deep-rooted love for aquariums. John, an aquarium enthusiast since childhood, always sought innovative ways to enhance and beautify his tanks. This passion led him to start an aquarium supplies distribution company, importing high-quality products into the Singapore market.

As the business grew, John faced limitations with factory configurations and product availability. Driven by a desire to innovate rather than just profit, John took a bold step. He transitioned from being a distributor to establishing his own factory in China, turning his creative ideas into reality.

Innovation and Quality

With a background in electrical engineering, John personally oversees the design, circuit creation, quality control, and assembly of Dymax products. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that every product meets the highest standards of quality and affordability. The launch of the IQ Series of Tanks was a testament to this commitment, becoming a hit among aquarium enthusiasts.
